Dear International Catholic Engaged Encounter (ICEE) Family, We are getting ready for our 2019 Executive Committee Meeting at Atyra, Paraguay from August 5th to 9th, and we have decided to use as the theme for our meeting “Love: our Mission”, which is the name of our International Bulletin.
Pope Francis just announced that the theme for the next World Meeting of Families, due to take place in Rome from June 23 to 27, 2021, will be “Family love: a vocation and a path to holiness”, and it perfectly frames the work that we will be performing at Paraguay.
Our mission as Catholic Engaged Encounter shapes a concrete experience of Love, and our journey strengthens love, and enables the vocation to holiness. For sure, our testimony of Love will inspire new marriages to grow in their faith and live the catholic values in their daily life.
During the meeting at Paraguay, we will share and learn from each other on how to strengthen our Mission to continue expanding our service for the good of the family, on 5 key areas:
Structure and Organization: Review the status of the Regional Manual implemention.
Accompany new marriages: Review status of implementing “Walking together” program.
Share Resources: Collect and share reference information related to weekend logistics, financials, additional contents and team couples’ preparation.
Promotion and Communication: Improve social media presence, content and internal communications.
Expansion: Prioritize funds and support to new dioceses.
